Studio "The Road of Ink" is open since 1998 in Lithuania National museum. Also during 2004 - 2005 it was working in Sugihara home, Kaunas.

Here is coming people who wants to know more and are interested to practice delicate painting with ink technique. They are learning the basic of calligraphy too. Alongside practical work there is going theoretical lectures: acquaintance with history of sumi - e and calligraphy, the old art tractates, Japanese aesthetics...

The members of studio "The Road of Ink" are participating in exhibitions too.

 

By absorbing sumi- e technique from Far East, we are talking in our heart language.
